The translation, back-translation and cultural adaptation of the Arabic version of the LiMEs is here presented. Possible
uses of this self-administered checklist are discussed, together with main ethical and organizational problems arising
from the reception of asylum seekers and refugees in Italy, within the context of European politics and rules.
